DiSC® Interpersonal Skills Communication

All people have their own tendencies, motivators, goals, fears and limitations which drive their behavior.  DiSC® is a highly validated and statistically accurate model for understanding why people do what they do.  When you know more about how people behave, you increase the likelihood that you will be successful in your interactions with them. You can be more empathetic because you can see issues from their viewpoint.

Whether you are presenting ideas, cooperating on a project, leading a group, or working through a conflict, having insight into your own, and other people’s behavioral styles, will make your interactions easier, increase results and reduce stress.

Based on a self-assessment, you will receive a detailed report which describes your behavioral style and provides practical information on working with people whose style may be different from your own.  The report can also provide information on how employees manage others (if in a supervisory capacity) and how they liked to BE managed.

Learning Objectives:  At the completion of this program you will be able to:

  • Identify hallmarks of the four DiSC® behavioral styles
  • Learn to “read” other peoples’ style
  • Modify your communication style, as needed, to increase effectiveness when communicating with others
  • Modify our work style, as needed to increase effectiveness when working with others
